Common Core – An Educational Event for the NYC Business Community

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a panel on the Common Core standards and Common Core-aligned assessments. The event, co-sponsored by the Public Policy Institute of New York State and the Committee for Economic Development, will provide the employer community and other stakeholders with crucial information on the state’s new education standards and include a discussion of the essential role that assessments play in measuring student growth.
