As of today, July 31 at 7am, you are no longer able to request an Uber
ride in Broward County due to the onerous regulations voted on by most
Broward County Commissioners.
The regulations place an unnecessary and substantial burden on Uber and
our driver-partners, making it impossible for Uber to continue providing
the standard of service you have come to expect and demand.
In his inaugural speech, Mayor Tim Ryan said, "[t]he most pressing
issue before us today and in the coming years is how to meet the demands
on our county's transportation needs.” We agree. And we believe
that Uber - and our driver-partners - can be part of the solution providing
access to safe, reliable rides.
In the coming days and weeks, we will need your help to make it clear
to the Board of County Commissioners that this remains an important issue
to you, and that you want ridesharing back in Broward County.

Uber in the rest of South Florida remains unchanged.
