It is a level of cruelty almost too horrifying to believe: Fraggle, a one-year-old
pit bull,
was zipped inside of a suitcase and left for dead.
By the time a Good Samaritan opened the suitcase, Fraggle was emaciated,
dehydrated and couldn't even walk. Given his fragile state,
it is likely that he would not have survived much longer in that awful

Over the course of three months, the ASPCA provided life-saving medical
and emotional care to Fraggle before placing him into a loving home,
where he will never again suffer at the hands of abusers. And because such a callous act should not go unpunished, we are offering
a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in
Fraggle's case.
We're glad Fraggle is safe, but the truth is that he is not an anomaly.
