SHE'S FED UP

Lucas, we've had more mass shootings than days of the year in 2015 so far.

December 14th marked the three-year anniversary of the unspeakably tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, and in those three years, we've seen nearly 100,000 more gun deaths in America.

We cannot stand idly by while senseless lives are taken every day, tearing families apart and robbing innocent people of their sense of safety. As a member of the House Gun Violence Prevention Taskforce, I am heartbroken and outraged that the majority of our elected officials have not taken steps to stop gun violence in this country.

I'm fed up, and I am demanding change. If you're with me, click here to add your name in support of gun violence prevention legislation.

As long as the majority of its members fails to recognize that gun deaths ARE preventable, Congress will never take action on this issue. That's why we need to raise our voices and demand that Congress open its eyes to the tragedies it allows to happen every day and commit to change the status quo.

No community should have to suffer from gun violence again. Together, I know we can make this happen, but we need your voice.

If you agree and want to prevent future gun violence, add your name to show your support for commonsense gun violence prevention legislation.

Thank you,

Elizabeth
