From the time she fled from a forced marriage in Somalia, Ayaan Hirsi
Ali has been fighting for the rights of women in Islam to be free from
mutilation, abuse, and oppression. Now she is calling for a reformation
inside Islam to turn it away from violence and toward a path that is compatible

She's earned plenty of death threats for her trouble. Others in her
position would have gone into hiding, but Ayaan keeps speaking out.
