Lucas --
If you haven't already seen Rush Limbaugh's brand-new comments
on rape, count yourself lucky.
While ranting against the Obama Administration's tyrannical push to
stop sexual assault on college campuses,
Limbaugh argued that "no means yes if you know how to spot it. "
No, Rush – no ALWAYS means NO.
If you agree, please sign our petition asking radio stations to stop buying
Rush Limbaugh's show.
Here's what Limbaugh said in its full context:
"Seduction used to be an art, now of course it's "brutish" and it's "predatory" ... [According to Ohio State policy,] consent must be freely given, can be withdrawn anytime, and the absence of "no" does not mean "yes." How many guys, in your own experience with women, have learned that no means yes if you know how to spot it? ... Are these [policies] not lawsuits waiting to happen?"
In 2014 America, we worry about stopping sexual assault. We NEVER worry
about whether freely-given consent takes the "art" out of anything.
Rush Limbaugh has a right to say whatever he wants, but radio stations
don't have to give him a platform:
Tell radio stations to STOP promoting Limbaugh's rape apology on our airwaves!
Sincerely,
