I ran for State Senate because I Believe in People, I Believe in Family,
I Believe in Communities and I Believe in this Great City. Thank you to
the residents of Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, Brownsville, Lefferts
Gardens, Sunset Park, Park Slope, Flatbush and Gowanus for electing me
as the next State Senator of the 20th District. We organized a people-powered
campaign knocking on over 30,000 doors and making over 25,000 phone calls
with hundreds of volunteers and union members leading to a 35 point margin
of victory.
