Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and Covenant House Florida invite you to come out to Esplanade Park in Downtown Fort Lauderdale for Bacon Bash 2014 .
This sizzling event will feature bacon-inspired dishes, beer, live music, bacon, activities for all ages…and did we mention BACON?!?! Festivities kickoff at 6pm and run until 10pm, but make sure to come early and beat the crowd…these tasty treats will surely have you bacon for more! Come out and join your fellow residents, businesses, and bacon lovers for a fun-filled evening of bacon goodness and “fun”-raising. Supporters and passersby are encouraged to sample unique and creative bacon bites from some of South Florida’s best restaurants starting at just $5. Participants include: Grille 401, M.E.A.T. Eatery and Tap Room, Himmarshee Public House, Nacho Bizness, ROK:BRGR and Insane Cookies.
Craft beer presents great complements to food these days, and what’s bacon without beer? Stephens Distributing and Shock Top are our proud sponsors of the Bacon Bash Biergarten from 7-10pm. A $20 pre-paid donation ($25 day of event) will afford guests unlimited beer samples. For those looking for additional libations, cash bars will be available outside the biergarten.
Attendees will enjoy live musical entertainment from DayBreak Embrace and DJ Two Story Lori. Guests of all ages are more than welcome to attend and enjoy activities throughout the evening.
