Dear Colleagues,
I regret to inform you that David Donald Siegel passed away on October 9th, at his home in North Egremont, Massachusetts.
David was a Professor of Law at Albany Law School for 35 years, and taught at St. John's University, New York University and Cornell University Law Schools. He was also a long time lecturer for the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute and Chair of the ever-popular CPLR seminar.
An interfaith memorial service will be held at St. James Church, 117 Hudson Avenue, Chatham, New York, at 1pm on October 19th.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Albany Law School Law Review, in memory of Professor David D. Siegel.
