FEMINISM'S A DIRTY WOOD

Elect Democratic women across our country!Lucas,

Our mothers and grandmothers fought tirelessly for equality – so when did "feminism" become a dirty word?

Today, one in three American women lives in poverty, two-thirds are their family's primary or co-breadwinner, and women make just 77 cents for every dollar men make.

But only 38% of American women consider themselves feminists.

We still do not have an equal voice – women make up just 18% of Congress, and with Election Day days away, the women's movement needs a jump-start.

Feminism is much more than a label. It means fighting to have power in decisions that impact our lives – and right now that's supporting our Off The Sidelines movement to elect strong, progressive women nationwide this November.

We've set an ambitious goal: 500 Off The Sidelines supporters giving before midnight Friday. Will you chip in right now?

Now is our moment to energize the feminist movement, and we have awe-inspiring women running for office across our country who can do just that. Women like Michelle Nunn, Alison Lundergan Grimes, Natalie Tennant, and Amanda Curtis, who could become their states' first female senators.

This election could be the year of the Democratic woman – but only if we come together to make it so.

Every day counts. Please, step up today by sending $5 or more to our Off The Sidelines movement – your gift will immediately go toward electing fantastic female leaders across our country.

Click here to donate to Off The Sidelines and help secure the allies we need to advance our progressive Democratic values across our country.

It's time to get American women fired up. Thank you for being part of the movement.

Kirsten
