We applaud Governor Cuomo for his wise selection and congratulate Justice Leslie E. Stein on her nomination. Justice Stein is a welcome addition to the Court, and will serve the people of New York with honor and distinction.
NYSTLA’s Judicial Screening Committee rated Justice Stein Highly Qualified and Highly Recommended, after reviewing her submitted questionnaire, opinions, and other legal writings, and conducting a screening interview.
Justice Stein was presented with the Harold Koreman Award at NYSTLA’s Capital Region Affiliate Dinner on October 8th at the Desmond Hotel. The Harold E. Koreman Award is in recognition of the commitment to the administration of justice with fairness and compassion in the outstanding judicial tradition of the Honorable Harold E. Koreman
