TOO MANY BLESSINGS TO COUNT

Lucas--

Any time I complained about something growing up, my parents would remind me to count my blessings. And this year, I have too many to count.

I'm thankful for my family and friends, for those who are still with us and all those who have passed. I'm incredibly thankful for you, for believing in me, for putting your faith in me and supporting everything that we do together. I'm thankful for the privilege of being a public servant, and I'm grateful that you've given me the opportunity to serve our district in Congress.

As I sit down to Thanksgiving dinner with my family this year, I'll be thankful that I'm not one of the millions of Americans who go without food or shelter. I'll be thankful for the freedom, peace and security I enjoy every single day. And I'll be praying for all the men and women in our armed forces who are separated from their loved ones as they risk their lives to protect us.

I want to thank you again for all you've done to support me, and I wish you and your family safe travels and a truly happy, peaceful and blessed Thanksgiving.
