Dear Lucas,
Every year at Thanksgiving we pause to reflect on all that we are grateful for.
I am grateful for my family, my wife Nancy who has been my rock throughout
our time together, my two strong and independent daughters, Jenny and
Crissi, their husbands and our five beautiful grandchildren who bring
us so much joy and love.
I'm also thankful for our community and every one of you who has stood
by me and my family through this long, hard campaign.
This day, and the ones that follow, also provide us with opportunities
to help others who may not be so fortunate. I give thanks for the privilege
I have been given to serve this community that I love.
I hope you are able to spend time in gratitude with family and friends today.
