In accordance with Article VII, Section 4 of the Bylaws of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association as adopted on May 14, 1990, it is my duty as Secretary to provide to you the names of the candidates nominated by the Committee on Nominations for officers serving for July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015 and Directors for the Class of 2017.
In accordance with the Bylaws, a Nominating Committee was selected from the members of the Board of Directors at the January 2014 meeting: Joseph P. Awad, Helene E. Blank, Shoshana T. Bookson, Martin W. Edelman, David B. Golomb, Michael E. Jaffe, Leslie D. Kelmachter, Lenore Kramer, Michael S. Levine, Jeffrey A. Lichtman, Nicholas Papain, Josh Silber, Edward A. Steinberg, Nicholas I. Timko and Robert F. Danzi as President of the Association acting as its chair pursuant to Article XVI, Section 1 of the Bylaws of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Pursuant to NYSTLA's Bylaws, Michael S. Levine automatically assumes the office of President andRobert F. Danzi assumes the office of Immediate Past President.
