It's official. Former Republican Senator Scott Brown has just announced that he's running for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire against my friend Jeanne Shaheen.
New Hampshire might be a little state, but Big Oil is going to spend big money to try and defeat Jeanne.
In fact, Karl Rove has already pledged $600,000 to the race, and his attack ads will start next week.
We have to help Jeanne – will you make a donation to her campaign right away?
Jeanne is one of my closest allies in the U.S. Senate – she's been such a champion for clean energy, women's health care, and equal pay for equal work. She has stood up to Big Oil time and time again, and that's why they recruited a well-funded candidate like Scott Brown to run against her.
