Flushing Municipal Lot 3 Request for Proposals

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) invites developers to submit proposals for a new construction project in the Flushing section of Queens.

The Site is owned by the City of New York and located at 133-45 41st Avenue, bordered by College Point Boulevard, Main Street, and the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) line in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens within Community District 7. The goal is to develop a transit-oriented, mixed-use, mixed-income development that will expand affordable housing opportunities in the neighborhood, while supporting the vitality of existing commercial and cultural uses.

Interested parties that choose to download the RFP using the link below must register. Only those registered will receive any updates or additional communications regarding the RFP. The RFP contains a detailed description of the development program, requirements, guidelines, eligibility requirements, selection process, and submission requirements.

A pre-submission conference will be held at HPD, 100 Gold Street, 1R, New York, NY on August 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interested organizations are strongly encouraged to attend the conference.
