The Supreme Court’s ruling in the Hobby Lobby case is disastrous for women all across the country.
By allowing companies to deny their employees access to birth control, the court set a very dangerous precedent, one that impedes women’s basic right to make their own health care choices.
The best way to fight back is to unite and make our voices heard. Members of Congress are just beginning to take action, so we need to get as many signatures as we can right now. Are you in?

This decision is just the latest in a long line of terrible setbacks for women in America. Republicans are intent on doing everything they can to stifle progress for women. Republican-led statehouses all across the country, including my home state of Florida, are moving bills to restrict women’s reproductive rights. In addition, here in Washington, the GOP-dominated Congress has continuously blocked equal pay legislation.
Now, more than ever, it’s critical that we elect more Democrats to Congress who will protect women’s rights and access to quality affordable health care.
