Quick note to let you know that our friend John Liu starts [Wednesday] at Baruch College's School of Public Affairs. John has always enjoyed sharing with students his insight and experience, drawing from his work as New York City Comptroller and as a New York City Councilmember. He will now teach public policy and municipal finance for the Master in Public Administration program.
John will cover a wide range of municipal finance, including bread and butter topics of accounting, auditing, debt issuance and investment management. His class would also analyze current issues of economic development policy, labor relations, and pension and healthcare cost impact. Just in time for budget season!
