I am writing to invite you to my big blowout fundraiser reception on Thursday,
September 4, complete with live music from some very talented friends.

Last time I ran for the State Senate I discovered that a lot of people did not know there was a serious independent alternative to our right-wing ideologue incumbent. So, every penny you donate to this campaign through November 4 will be going toward getting word out about my candidacy. That's it! Your contributions will never go toward lease payments on a luxury SUV, or to buying thousands of dollars of cigars. All of your contribution will go, as campaign contributions should go, to getting me elected State Senator for Staten Island's 24th State Senate district.
Almost certainly I will be significantly outraised and outspent by the incumbent. So, please join me on September 4 at The Historic Old Bermuda Inn, have some fun and vote with your money to elect a government, which is responsive to all the people of Staten Island. If you cannot make it on the 4th, please consider donating. All donations are greatly appreciated.
