Months ago I wrote to you to share my pride for sponsoring the Government By The People Act, which would limit the amount of money congressional candidates can accept from special interest groups -- and hopefully help counter the unchecked influence that
Citizens United afforded billionaires like the Koch brothers in our elections.
Well, I'm emailing again, because the Supreme Court recently released another decision that allows the ultra wealthy to spread their influence further and in more elections nationwide.

Our country should incentivize grassroots participation in our elections if we're going to protect government for the people and by the people. Small dollar donations should be the name of the game, not deep pockets that can make maximum donations to every extremist candidate across the board.
