We sent you a number of emails and asked for a lot of help from you over the past two months and you responded with an incredible outpouring of support. For that, I am writing to say thank you and to let you know that your contributions have gotten our campaign national attention.
We surpassed our first quarter fundraising goals and will have one of the strongest filings in the country, raising nearly $1.5 million in just over two months. As we enter the next phase of the campaign, we're coming out of the gate stronger than anyone thought possible. Please take a look at yesterday's Newsday article below discussing the success that you made happen.
