New York has been at the forefront of the national labor movement from its beginning. Over the last century, our state’s workforce has built massive projects of infrastructure, fought for fair workplace regulations and workers' rights, and expanded the middle class.
This vibrant relationship continues today, as we work with our partners in labor unions across the state to build our state's economy and ensure a prosperous future for all New Yorkers.
