A DRUNKEN MONKEY?

Amal Spero was injured at the Drunken Monkey Bar and Grill after being hit by a closing metal door.

While a Richmond County Supreme Court jury found the restaurant guilty of negligence for failing to maintain the door in a reasonably safe condition, the group was also of the view that that negligence wasn't the reason for Amal's damages.

And when Amal tried to set aside that verdict, both the Richmond County Supreme Court and the Appellate Division, Second Department, declined the request--noting that the jury's interpretation of the facts was "logical," and consistent with the evidence presented at trial.

Logic can be most … annoying.
