I hope this note finds you well as you prepare to enjoy the holidays with family and friends.
As we begin Hanukkah this evening and celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow, now is a time to reflect on our many blessings. I am so grateful for the health of my family and friends and the immense privilege of serving you in Congress each day.
Just this week, I made a donation of my salary from the period of the government shutdown to two local food banks that are helping some of our less fortunate neighbors enjoy a hot meal and put food on the table for their families. I hope you'll join me in giving something back to our community - whether it's your time, talents, or contributions - this holiday season.
