65% Say Arrival of Spring Lifts Their Spirits

Spring is just around the corner, and most Americans are looking forward to it. Though slightly fewer Americans pick spring as their favorite season, they still have plenty of activities on the agenda for it.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 33% of American Adults name summer as their favorite season. Twenty-eight percent (28%) prefer fall, while just as many (27%) like spring the best. Winter remains in fourth place with six percent (6%) naming it as their favorite season. The survey of 1,000 Adults was conducted on March 13-14, 2013 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
