HOOSE'S NOOSE?

Tammy L. Hoose was denied unemployment insurance benefits supposedly because she was fired for work-related misconduct.

Because Hoose didn't request a hearing within 30 days of receiving that unfavorable determination, both the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board and the Appellate Division, Third Department, were of the view the lady couldn't pursue her claim. (Apparently, she wasn't able to offer an acceptable excuse for her delay.)

They cut poor Hoose, loose.
