You know the quote: "Republicans believe every day is the Fourth of July, but the Democrats believe every day is April 15."
They're the words of President Ronald Reagan, and right now they couldn't ring more true. This July 4, we have so much to celebrate — as Americans, and as Republicans. More than can be celebrated in a single day. Last week, freedom won. And freedom continues to win across the country.
But as our Founding Fathers knew, freedom is worth fighting for, and with the wind at our backs following two historic rulings by the United States Supreme Court and growing GOP support for the freedom to marry, now is not the time to get squeamish and stop fighting.
That's why I'm asking for you to celebrate freedom today with a donation of $25, $50, $100, $250 or whatever you can give to Log Cabin Republicans.
