One thing is clear – we need more women in power. Our country has only five female Governors -- the lowest number in over a century and only one is a Democrat.
Tomorrow we are facing a critical campaign budget deadline for four outstanding females running for Governor,Allyson Schwartz in Pennsylvania,Barbara Buono in New Jersey,
Heather Mizeur in Maryland and the sole Democratic female Governor in office this year,Maggie Hassan in New Hampshire. If they don't have the resources they need, we won't be able to have these outstanding females as our leaders.
Outside groups are making decisions about what gubernatorial races to target NOW and that's why tomorrow's end of month deadline is so critical. Please contribute to these outstanding female leaders now.
Allyson Schwartz (D-PA): Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz is running to defeat Republican extremist Tom Corbett. Allyson is a tenacious leader and respected policymaker. This is her first deadline since she gained national attention as a top race to watch in the country.

Getting the message out to voters about the truth about Chris Christie is critical in this final stretch of the election. Barbara is a progressive who has relentlessly fought for equal rights for the LGBT community and others. Right now, she is fighting hard to make sure we defeat Christie. Heather Mizeur (D-MD): Named twice to Maryland's Top 100 Women list, Heather Mizeur has been called an "audacious risk-taker," a "hero to a wide swath of Democrats," and "one of the canniest politicians in Maryland today." Heather has what it takes to win in Maryland but has to meet her budget deadline tomorrow.
