Dear Friend of Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park,
Forty years after the plan for FDR Four Freedoms State Park was announced and three years after construction began, we are proudly coming to the end of our first full year of operation.
Join us in celebrating this historic milestone by becoming a Charter Member of the Four Freedoms Park Conservancy.
The year's highlights are many: We welcomed over 170,000 visitors and hosted over 45 public programs. This spring we began our free Family Art Workshop Series. We offer free public tours every Saturday & Sunday. Parks & Trails New York honored us with the George W. Perkins Award for environmental leadership, and on Veterans Day we hosted a naturalization ceremony for 30 new U.S. citizens from 25 countries.
