This week, a pro-Scott Brown Tea Party Super PAC started airing ads in New Hampshire attacking my friend Jeanne Shaheen.
You might remember Scott Brown, the former Senator from Massachusetts who was defeated by Elizabeth Warren last November.
Now, he's moved up north to New Hampshire and is considering a run against my friend Jeanne Shaheen – the only Democrat elected to the Senate from New Hampshire in 30 years.
The Tea Party has done the math. They know that just a few Senate races will decide whether Democrats or Republicans control the U.S. Senate. And Karl Rove and the Super PACs know that if they want Mitch McConnell to be the Senate Majority Leader, they need to defeat strong Democrats like Jeanne Shaheen.
They think they can do it by convincing Scott Brown, a Tea Party darling, to move to New Hampshire and run against Jeanne.
If Scott Brown enters the race, a flood of special interest money will pour into this race.
That's why Jeanne needs our immediate support to build a strong grassroots organization before Brown enters the race.

She is a passionate fighter for equal pay for equal work. She's an outspoken advocate for LGBT rights.
