HPD has extended the September 1st deadline for Multiple Dwelling Property Registration (MDR) toSeptember 15th. If you did not receive a registration form in the mail, the registration forms can be requested from HPD via email at register@hpd.nyc.govand the registration assistance office can be reached at (212) 863-7000.
HPD's online MDR website is currently not operational. An enhanced website is expected in mid-September.
Payments for Property Registration are currently billed to the property by the Department of Finance (DOF) with the Statement of Account (marked as Property Registration). In addition to sending in a properly completed and signed MDR form to HPD, the $13 annual fee must be paid to DOF in order to have a valid Property Registration.
