WHAT A HEADACHE!

tgif_nyreblog_com_.jpgAfter one of its employees hit him in the head with a highchair, Mathew Ryan sued T.G.I. Friday's in the Rensselaer County Supreme Court but the case got thrown out because his attorneys supposedly didn't comply with some of the judge's directives.

When Ryan sued his attorneys--claiming "but for" their conduct, his case against T.G.I.F. would have been successful--his request for relief in favor was denied, and an appeal was filed.

Because there were many unresolved questions, including whether Ryan had sustained head injuries as an Olympic wrestler, the Appellate Division, Third Department, agreed that the case couldn't be decided on the papers presented, and that the matter needed to proceed to a formal hearing or trial.

Give him more Fridays!
