Dear Friend,
On Monday, Public Advocate Bill de Blasio stood with tenants in the Bronx to launch an 8-point housing initiative to repair run-down apartments and protect tenants.
Bill announced a new partnership with Craigslist that enables prospective renters to cross-check housing listings against our newly enhanced NYC's Worst Landlord Watch List . He also outlined plans to bar chronically bad landlords from receiving taxpayer dollars.
The complete 8-point plan is available at http://advocate.nyc.gov/saferhousing . You can also watch Bill's appearance on Good Day New York by clicking here or selecting the video above.
Boosted by coverage in today's New York Times , more than 11,000 New Yorkers have visited NYC's Worst Landlords Watchlist in the last 24 hours. I encourage you to explore the site at www.LandlordWatchlist.com and share your thoughts with Bill on Facebook and Twitter .
Thanks,
Matt Wing
