The Senate Dems are hard at work in an effort to bring about real change to New York. In Western New York, Republican Senator Grisanti was called out as the Senate Dems' number 1 target in the district where there are 82,000 more Democrats than Republicans. Senator Mike Gianaris was in Buffalo laying the groundwork for winning back that seat in 2012.
Senators are also preparing for their return to session next week where they will keep the pressure on for our priorities including: Property Tax Cap, Ethics Reform, and Independent Redistricting .
The overwhelming support for Independent Redistricting across the state continues to grow. When Republican Senators returned back to their districts for their break, they were once again called out for their failure to keep their promise to create an Independent Redistricting Commission this year .
