NO STEPPING OUT

00422706.jpgWhile at work, Teresa Gil would skip lunch to make up time spent running personal errands.

After she failed to comply with her supervisor's directive to take a lunch hour at a designated time, and to use her leave time for her personal errands, Teresa's employment was terminated.

When Teresa applied for unemployment, the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board didn't think she was entitled to benefits, due to her insubordinate conduct.

Because Teresa refused to comply with "reasonable rules" set by her supervisor, the Appellate Division, Third Department, agreed with that outcome.

Who's got plenty of time now?
