THOMPSON HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE MONDAY ON IMPACT OF H1N1 VIRUS ON AREA HOSPITALS

 

New York City Comptroller William C. Thompson, Queens Borough President Helen Marshall and New York City Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum will hold a news conference detailing how Queens hospital emergency rooms are being overwhelmed in the wake of area hospital closures and increased patients due to the H1N1 virus. Thompson will issue a policy alert examining the impact on area hospitals, focusing on emergency departments.
