annpfau.jpg Ann Pfau , [pictured left], Chief Administrative Judge of all New York State courts, has circulated a memo, dated October 10, 2008, addressing the procedures for securing emergency relief -- like getting an Order to Show Cause signed -- when courts are closed.

Pfau is anticipating an increasing number of these kinds of applications due to the current economic climate.
