1500 PRISONERS MAKE A BREAK!

Earlier today, we were forwarded a video link by one of our readers and, frankly, we don't know what to make of the darn thing.

It seems that some 1500 inmates of a "detention and rehabilitation center" in Cebu, Philippines , decided to "put on a show," and pay homage to recording artist, Michael Jackson , f/k/a the King of Pop, in a most unusual way.*

The countless hours of rehearsal that went into this video's production are self evident. But one can't help wonder whether the American Civil Liberties Union would have slapped our prison officials with lawsuits up the wazoo if this " cruel and unusual " stunt had been tried here at home.

Be prepared to be repulsed and amazed. (It's quite ghoulish.)

*Of course, it is ironic that back in the early 1990's, Mr. Jackson barely escaped incarceration, as a result of child molestation and sexual abuse charges that were made against him.
