Inauguration Ceremony and Celebration
Thank you again for your support. On day one of 2010, I am looking forward to beginning my term representing the 49th City Council District of New York City.
On Saturday, January 9th, at 1 pm, I will be officially sworn in at an inauguration ceremony and celebration at the St. George Theatre, 35 Hyatt St., up the hill from Staten Island Borough Hall. I am excited to announce that Governor David Patterson has accepted our invitation to officiate at the swearing-in, and we will be honored by the presence of many community leaders, elected officials, and by talented performers (young and old) from across the North Shore district.
Let's make this a happy, celebratory afternoon that highlights the people, the talent, and the potential of every neighborhood on the North Shore and on Staten Island. In order to accomplish this, I need your help right now!
Campaign Finance Board rules don't allow us to use any of our campaign funds to pay for the inauguration -- in other words, we need to raise every penny that will go toward the swearing-in ceremony and festivities from scratch, starting now.
That's why I am hoping you can help us out with a contribution of $175, $100 or $50 -- or whatever you can afford. You can download a contribution card by clicking here and mail your contribution payable to the "Debi Rose Inauguration Committee." and send it to:

May you enjoy the upcoming holiday season, thinking of all we have to be thankful for and preparing ourselves for the opportunities ahead in 2010. For myself, my thoughts always come back to you, those who supported me and will support me in my mission to help the North Shore communities of Staten Island reach their full potential.
