BOOK IT!

Judith Kaye, recently retired Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals, has sponsored a book drive to create and enhance children's libraries in the family courts of New York State. NYLS's Legal Association for Women and our new Diane Abbey Law Center for Children and Families are co-sponsoring a drive to add to her efforts, and Judge Kaye will be joining us on Wednesday November 11th for our presentation to her of the books we've collected. We are accepting new or gently used children's books at the Law School in the following locations:

-Library front desk
-Diane Abbey Law Center for Children and Families (B509)
- Office of Professional Development
- Student Center (185 West Broadway, 5th Floor)

We hope you will consider donating books to the bookdrive, and joining us at the presentation of our books to former Chief Judge Kaye, which will take place - on November 11, 2009 from 6:30-8:00 PM in Room W201.
