Join us for a presentation by Andeisha Fareid,
Executive Director of theAndeisha Farid Executive Director AFCECO Afghan Children Education and Care Organization (AFCECO), on the importance of the ties being forged between our two countries through U.S. sponsorship of Afghan children. 


The presentation will be followed by an interview with Behzad Yaghmaian, author of Embracing the Infidel, Stories of Muslim Migrants on the Journey West, that will open up broader topics of life today in Afghanistan, the impact of foreign military actions on the population, the present and future role of women and children in Afghanistan.
