BILL de BLASIO EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

Great news! Our most recent filing with the Campaign Finance Board far exceeded our expectations. We surpassed our fundraising goals and brought in $221,570 over the last eight weeks. Even more exciting is that because of your support, we are eligible to receive $1,461,690 through New York City's public financing program.

Guess what else?! As petitioning winds down, we will report to the Board of Elections with over 125,000 signatures - far more than the 7,500 needed to get Bill on the ballot. Our growing coalition has shown an amazing ability to reach hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers through grassroots organizing. Coalitions like ours are how successful political campaigns are defined.

While we are very proud of our progress, our work is nowhere near done. Over the next two months, the campaign will work around the clock to get Bill de Blasio elected New York City's next Public Advocate. We will be knocking on thousands of doors, calling voters across the city, and writing letters to our neighbors encouraging people to get out and vote for Bill. It is time to bring our campaign to people's homes and communities!
