DINNER FOR TWO WITH OBAMA: $66,200
If you thought Al Gore and John McCain set the record for the priciest fundraising dinners ... think again.
The Obama campaign just announced that, in the coming weeks, the Senator will be in the New York City area attending a series of events, including one on July 9, 2008, at 7:00 PM, at the Park Avenue home of Ambassador Carl Spielvogel.
There, along with 99 other people, you can enjoy a "private" dinner with the democratic nominee. The cost: A meager $33,100 a head.
Forget the dessert, folks!
If booked to capacity, Obama's take will be $3,310,000. Now that's sweet!
(Who needs public financing? The guy's printing cash!)

UPDATE: 7/04/08
Looks like a $3M take wasn't enough for the Obama group.
The event's location has now been changed to the Loew's Regency Hotel Ballroom, 540 Park Avenue (Manhattan).
