Friends are hosting an event for New York City Councilmember Bill de Blasio on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at 6:30 PM.

Bill wants make a run for Brooklyn Borough President in 2009 and is looking to raise some cash.

I bet he now wishes he had set up a run for Vito Faccia di Polenta Fossella's House seat, rather than be the 193rd candidate for Brooklyn BP.
